Nritham Dance Academy follows the syllabus which aligns to most of the major dance examination boards in UK. The graded examinations are conducted from Pre-Primary Grade to Grade 10 (Post Diploma).

Preliminary induction for the first year – Basic Adavus

2 year course in Intermediate level – Practical and Theory

3 year course in Advanced level – Practical and Theory

Arangetram

Beginners who join the Academy have to complete a preliminary induction for the first year and then followed by a two years’ course Intermediate level that trains students in both the practical and theoretical aspects required for the appropriate presentation of the traditional repertoire of Bharatanatyam.

After completing the intermediate level, students can further learn a three year advanced level course before they prepare for Arangetram which is considered to beginning of a professional dancer.  The Academy is flexible to provide its students the course level which they wish to join.

Tests & Certifications

Nritham Dance Academy conducts internal tests for its students at regular intervals in order to prepare for the Board Certifications.

On successful completion of the course, students can apply and undertake Board Exams  for grades from Pre-Primary to Grade 10 depending on the course’s progress. Currently Nritham Dance Academy uses Elite Performing Arts Examination Board (EPAEB) for the graded examinations for its students. The academy  also provides flexibility to its students to apply for any other professional Boards other than EPAEB, if they wish to do so.
